#4 Special day with my girl

So first, I apologize for my tech inability.  I uploaded the below images from my phone and don’t know how to rotate them without going through the process of saving them separately….and I have no patience for that.  So I should be apologizing for my impatience rather than my technological shortcomings.  Anyhoo.  The pictures are sideways, tilt your head to the right for the full effect.

I wrote briefly about #4 Have a Special Day with Maren in my 35 things to do when I am 35.  I feel now, after this phenomenal artwork was sent home from school that I want to pause upon it one more time.   The class assignment was to draw a picture of your favorite place, and you can see below (if you tilt your head to the right) that it is a picture of a very colorful Tacoma Dome and written by her teacher her rational.

Mommy heart swell!!!!

I’m impressed too because the cupcakes following didn’t make the cut of the important part of the memory.

#27 Pay it Forward

Right around the New Year I participated in one of the Facebook trends that spreads like crazy.  This one, however, was a pay it forward, promise which I made.  This also so happens to be my #27 on my 35 things to do when I am 35.

‎”2011 promises to be a great year and I’m paying my good fortune forward by promising to send something handmade/hand drawn over the course of the year to the first five FB friends to comment to this post AND who agree to pay it forward by posting a similiar promise as their status. You have a whole year to make good.”

I am excited to make my friends Heather, Rachael, Jennevieve, Laurie and Emily something wonderful.
